This week we will be studying Deuteronomy 8:1-18 under the theme “Success Without Forgetting God.” The spiritual danger of success in life (and the need for testing in the wilderness) is not that we will lose what God has given us, but that his gifts will convince us we no longer need the Giver.

Series Summary: The wilderness exposes what is in the human heart. But it also reveals the unwavering faithfulness of God. Through Israel’s fear, grumbling, failures, and blessings, this series will call us to trust God’s promises, receive his gracious provision, love him wholeheartedly, and choose the life found in Christ.
